A family dental practice serving the needs of families in Glasgow for 30 years. Putting the needs of patients first, our caring & friendly staff believe prevention is better than cure. We focus on long-term oral health to keep you smiling with confidence. Anjum Baig is the senior dentist.
Despite current lockdown restrictions we are still open for routine and non-emergency care. However due to constraints to control the spread of Coronavirus, severely limit the number of patients that can be treated. Given this limited capacity, we will prioritise patients based on their oral health needs. These needs will be based on the professional judgement of our practicioners who will prioritise patients according to particular clinical situations, ensuring that those most at risk if treatment is further delayed will be seen soonest.
If you are experiencing pain that will continue to be a priority and you should contact us for advice and care as appropriate.
Each dentist is to be supplied with enough PPE to treat 10 NHS patients per day, 5 of whom can have procedures that generate spray (drills and scalers). Some of these appointments will be reserved for patients requiring urgent care.
We are aware that there is a huge backlog of patients requiring treatment, but practices will be operating at approximately 25% of their normal capacity when we enter phase 4.
It is likely that the phones will be very busy, appointment books will fill quickly and the waiting time for NHS appointments will be significant. We ask patients to be understanding of the situation which is frustrating for all parties.
Please be assured that we continue to do our best for our patients, as we have done throughout this pandemic. We appreciate your continued patience and undestanding at this difficult time.
However in the meantime, if you have any concerns with your teeth whether an emergency or not please contact the practice on 0141 7727091 between the the hours of 9am-6pm. Monday to Friday and your call will be diverted to one of our on-call Dentist for further advice and management.
Out with working hours after 6pm and weekends please call NHS 24 on 111.
We would like to thank our patients for your understanding, in what is a difficult and challenging time for everyone.
